Concierto Rondeño does not depict the city through picturesque convention. It takes Ronda as architecture, height, depth, literary memory and the tension between landscape and vertigo.

The guitar acts as the expressive centre of a transparent orchestra. Flamenco elements are integrated into articulation, rhythm and formal energy rather than added as a stylistic surface.
